Body Movin’

I’ve gone to the gym every day this week! Working out again feels really fantastic; the sense of accomplishment, the adrenaline rush, the exhausted and sore muscles. So far I’m only able to do roughly half of my former workout (used to do 45-60 minutes on the elliptical in one shot, burning around 500 calories, now I can only bang out 25 minutes at a time, burning 225 calories) but considering I hadn’t worked out since April that isn’t too bad! Trying not to push myself too hard right away, because I don’t want to get burned out and discouraged—or worse, hurt myself.

According to the gym scale, I’m already down 3 pounds, too. Not too shabby :)
